Christian: Unplanned Pregnancy
You never intended to get pregnant. “What have I gotten myself into?” you ask yourself.
“It will ruin my reputation!”
“I’m not ready for this…parenting. How could I have done this?”
“We can’t afford this; our lives are falling apart all around us. We’re not ready to bring a child into this world.”
“Will my parents forgive me for this? Will God?”
Calm down. We have a loving God who promises to never leave or forsake us… even in situations like this. Whether you’re a teenager, an older woman, or a mother already, God doesn’t care. He asks us to cast our burdens on Him because He cares for us. No matter who rejects us or is disappointed, our Heavenly Father still sits on the throne. Let Him direct your path regarding your coming decisions and steps. Ask Him to open your eyes of understanding, and believe He will guide you in the paths of righteousness. Remember: He understands.
